Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why it is used, and where third-party services are involved.
Contact messages
The contact form collects your optional name, required reply email, and message. Submissions are stored in this publication’s database so the editor can read them in a private inbox. The form does not send email. Do not include passwords, payment details, identity documents, or other sensitive information.
Contact data is used to consider your request and, if the editor chooses, respond using your reply address. There is no promised response time or automatic deletion schedule. Use the contact form to request access, correction, or deletion; these requests require editor handling and are not an automated self-service process.
Security, hosting, and logs
The site is hosted on Replit and uses its configured PostgreSQL database. Hosting and security services may process IP addresses, request details, timestamps, and error logs. Contact and login abuse checks use keyed hashes of request identifiers and short-lived database rate-limit records rather than storing an additional raw IP address with your message.
Private inbox access requires the owner’s existing publisher credential and a time-limited, HttpOnly session cookie. Sessions and anti-forgery tokens support authentication and form security. Session cookies are not used for advertising. These protections reduce risk; they are not a guarantee of absolute security or a certification.
Google advertising and fonts
Public pages load the Google AdSense script for this publication’s publisher account. Google may process device, network, cookie, and advertising information under its own policies and the account’s configuration. Private editor pages do not load the AdSense script. The site also requests its fonts from Google Fonts, which involves requests to Google services.
This site does not currently implement an advertising consent-management platform or claim that all regional advertising-consent requirements have been met. Where required, the owner must configure an appropriate Google-certified consent-management solution and advertising settings before serving ads. A notice alone does not control these services.
Links, affiliate partners, and images
Affiliate links can take you to a partner’s website, where that partner’s privacy and cookie practices apply. The publication may earn a commission from qualifying purchases; recommendations include commission disclosures. Article images and source links may involve third-party hosts such as Unsplash or Pexels. Linked social-media services apply their own policies when you visit them.
Your choices
You can choose not to submit a contact message and can control cookies or third-party requests using browser settings. These controls may affect site functions. This policy describes current implementation, not a claim of GDPR compliance, a fixed retention promise, or a consent certification. For privacy questions, use the contact form.
